The Oregon Coast Fil-Am
Association, a non-political, non-religious and non-profit
organization from Bandon to Reedsport began forming in October 1999 by
electing a founding board to draft its Articles and By Laws.

charitable purposes.

growing organization and hoping to continue our growth and execute our
mission statement effectively.
The fundamental
mission of our association is

To provide Hospitality to New Filipino Residents in our Community,"
and also
" To
Promote and Keep Alive our Filipino Culture."
What's
the plan?
We plan to do this by
promoting Social Interactions among our members and other Filipino
American Organizations.
On September 16, 2000
we held our first membership meeting and elected our officers.
